Take an MCTC 101 Tour
Attending an MCTC 101 Tour is a great way to understand the work of the College and the students we serve. These small tours are designed to provide you with a broad overview of MCTC; its mission, its programs and its impact in the community and throughout Minnesota.
Come learn first-hand about how a program called the Power of YOU has inspired recent high school graduates to enroll and succeed in college. You will also hear from President Phil Davis, who will give a college update on some of the exciting and positive things that are happening on campus. And, as a tour finale, you will be able to see a short demonstration of what goes on behind the scenes with filmmaking, brought to you by our award winning Cinema Division.
This is not a fundraising event, but is simply a way to tell our story of how our college changes lives.
Refreshments will be served and parking is free. Tours begin in Wheelock Whitney Hall (MCTC's Library) on the 3rd floor, room L3100.
Upcoming Tour Dates:
October 28th - 4:00 PM
February 24th - 4:00 PM
March 31 - 4:00 PM
April 28th - 4:00 PM
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about us. If you would like to attend this tour please RSVP to Marni Harper at 612-659-6311 or marni.harper@minneapolis.edu.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Bringing the MCTC 101 Tour to Your Group
MCTC is now offering to bring MCTC to you! If you would like us to present to your group at your work place or maybe you belong to a civic or community organization that is looking for speakers to present on interesting and relevant topics then this is the presentation for you. You will hear how college accessibility has changed the lives of our Power of YOU students from the students themselves. We also have a five-minute, interesting and informative video we will share and then President Phil Davis will talk about some of the exciting and positive things that are happening on campus and what we are doing as a college to address the issues of accessibility and affordability.
If your group is fifteen people or more and you would like us to present to your group, please contact Marni Harper at 612-659-6311 or marni.harper@minneapolis.edu to discuss your interest in having us present.
